The World Boxing Association (WBA) presented an award to the president of the WBC, Mauricio Sulaiman, during the organization’s convention, taking place in Mexico City. 

The plaque signed by Gilberto Jesús Mendoza was presented as part of the WBA centennial and recognizes the effort and work Sulaimán has done for boxing.

It is also a symbol of the commitment to work hand in hand that the four most important organizations have agreed upon that aims to benefit boxing worldwide. 

The WBA congratulates Sulaiman and the WBC on its 59th convention and sends its best wishes to this organization.
