WBA presented recognition to David Diamante in San Diego

The World Boxing Association (WBA) presented a mini championship belt to announcer David Diamante as a token of appreciation for the work he has done over the years and as congratulations for his return to the ring after suffering a motorcycle accident in December.

This Saturday, the American returned to his duties during the evening that took place in San Diego and in which Roman Gonzalez defeated Julio Cesar Martinez in the main event.

The pioneer organization gave a recognition to his career and Diamante thanked the president of the organization, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, after receiving it.

The WBA celebrates the return of one of the best announcers of the era and boxing in general welcomes Diamante’s return as good news. Congratulations.
