The female presence in boxing has been growing enormously in recent years and it has not been only on the ring. More women have been joining the sport of flat noses and a clear example will be Top Rank Boxing’s international broadcast on August 14, in Oklahoma, which will feature journalist Crystina Poncher along with world champion Mikaela Mayer as the first all-female commentary team for a boxing event.

The event will feature Joshua Franco and Andrew Moloney, who will square off in their third WBA super flyweight title bout and will be packed with other great bouts.

Poncher is a boxing expert who has gained notoriety through her work and has managed to bring great stories of the sport to fans around the world. She will be joined by Mayer, the current WBO super featherweight champion and one of the best female fighters in boxing today.

The WBA applauds the ongoing development of boxing, which has opened doors for talented individuals such as Mayer and Poncher. The international audience will have a great opportunity to enjoy the knowledge of both analysts in a historic broadcast for boxing. Congratulations.
