Within a sport of evaluation such as boxing, it is always important to review the way matches are scored. To avoid controversy, it is important to focus on this aspect, and that’s why the usual WBA Judges and Referees Seminar will be held within the Convention.

They will work in two shifts, the first one is from 9 am to 12 pm, and the second one is from 2 pm to 4 pm, on Thursday, November 1st. They will have the opportunity to review the most controversial matches during the past year, analyze closed rounds and unify scoring criteria.

The most outstanding students of the First Introductory Course for Candidates to Judge and Referee will attend this activity that took place on October 7-8, in the same city.

The WBA wants to keep improving in this area, and be a more just organization for all the parts involved.
