No surprises in the weigh in of the World Boxing Association Middleweight 160 lbs. super championship between Gennady Golovkin and his challenger, Willie Monroe Jr., in California, United States.

The first to step onto the scale was Monroe stopping it at 160 lbs.

The champion, defending his title for the fourteenth time, made 159.

The officials appointed for the California State Athletic Commission were Jack Reiss as the referee, and the judges Adelaide Bird, Steve Weisfeld and Patt Russel.

The WBA supervisor will be Gilberto Jesus Mendoza.
