WBA Resolution: Heavyweight Division

The World Boxing Association (WBA) Championships Committee called a purse bid for the bout between the super flyweight super champion, Juan Francisco Estrada, and the champion of the category, Joshua Franco for next Monday, April 18. 

The bidding will be held on Zoom platform at 10:00 a.m. Panama time. The pioneer organization sent the formal communication to both parties after the 30-day deadline given to them to reach an agreement. 

Carlos Chávez, president of the World Championships Committee, will be in charge of the bidding that will have a split of 75% for Estrada and 25% for Franco, with a minimum amount of US$ 120,000.00. 

The bout was ordered as part of the world title reduction plan implemented by the pioneer body and the winner will become the only 115 lbs. champion by the WBA.
