Gabriel Rosado will defend his Continental Americas super middleweight championship against Shane Mosley Jr. on Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The fight will be one of the most interesting of this weekend’s event and will pit two veterans against each other for the regional belt of the pioneer organization.

Rosado won the belt on June 19, 2021 with an impressive knockout over Bektemir Melikuziev in El Paso, Texas. Now, the 35-year-old fighter will make the first defense of his crown.

His opponent will be 31-year-old Mosley, a warrior who always puts up tough fights and is looking to pull off an upset and take the black and gold belt away from Rosado. He has won four of his last five fights and although he lost his most recent fight, he did so with a good performance.

Rosado has a record of 26 wins, 14 losses and 1 draw, with 15 knockouts. Mosley has 17 wins, 4 losses and 10 knockouts.
