Kieron Conway (16W-1L-1D, 3 KOs) and Souleymane Cissokho (12W-0L, 8 KOs) held their last press conference prior to their WBA Intercontinental Super Welterweight title bout this Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Conway will defend the regional belt against Cissokho in one of the most important bouts of the event featuring Saul Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders.

The conference flowed smoothly with Matchroom director Eddie Hearn as moderator and both fighters had a chance to speak to the press and warm up for their showdown.

“I’m here right now. I’ll get the job done this Saturday night,” noted Britain’s Conway, who will be making his first title defense.

For his part, the Senegalese-born French challenger spoke about his great preparation: “I’m ready for this Saturday night. I’ve had a great camp”.

Now all that’s left is the weigh-in on Friday. Once they mark the 154 pounds required by the rules, they will be ready for the opening bell on Saturday night.
