Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Caleb Plant reached an agreement to fight on November 6, in Las Vegas, for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Championship and the WBO, WBC and IBF belts.

The bout will be one of the most anticipated of the year and the winner will be the undisputed champion at 168 pounds, which adds extra spice to this great showdown.

The public had been waiting for the confirmation of the fight, after they could not fight in September due to differences in negotiations, but they have already reached an agreement.

“Canelo holds the WBA belt as well as the WBC and WBO versions. The Mexican has made it clear that his immediate goal in boxing is to win all the titles in the division, but to do so he will have to overcome Plant’s obstacle.

The American is a technical and intelligent boxer, holder of the IBF belt, is undefeated and wants to surprise the world in the most important fight of his career. Plant has a height advantage and knows how to counterpunch well, which predicts a good strategic duel.

Both fighters have been working in the gym for weeks and with about two and a half months left, the promotion of the fight is expected to start in the next few days.

Alvarez has a record of 57 wins, 1 loss, 2 draws and 38 knockouts, while Plant has 21 wins, no losses and 12 knockouts.
