The World Boxing Association (WBA) Female Super Bantamweight champion, Venezuelan Alys Sanchez (15-3-1, 4 KO) and her challenger and former champion, Colombian Liliana Palmera (27-12-3, 16 KO), will star in the KO Drugs Festival that will be held this Saturday in El Salvador, and both made the weight for the fight.

Sanchez will defend her belt at 122 pounds for the first time and stopped the scale at 121.6 pounds. On the other hand, Palmera hit the scales at 121.6 pounds, and all is set for their bout.

This will be the third fight between both boxers. In the previous ones, each one has had one victory, which has created a healthy rivalry between them.

In the same evening, organized by the WBA in Central America, the Salvadoran Juan Carlos “Speedy” Flores (6-1) hit the scales at 121.6 pounds, while his opponent, Costa Rican Cristian Coronado (6-0) stopped the scale at 121.2 pounds and both are ready to fight for the WBA-Fedecentro Super Bantamweight title.

The KO Drugs seeks to include young people in sports and keep them away from the bad life. The undercard will have many interesting fights with talent from El Salvador and several countries in Central and South America.
