American Alicia Napoleon defended her Super Welterweight Title of the World Boxing Association (WBA) by defeating via technical knockout fellow countryman Schemelle Baldwin this Thursday night.

The winner of “Breakout Female of the Year” of the WBA resolved the fight convincingly in the fourth round by technical knockout in front of the public of the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut.

It was the second defense by the New York fighter who won the crown in March of 2018 with a win against Femke Hermans. She defended on one occasion against Hannah Rankin in August of the same year and came back victorious in her second defense this Thursday.

Napoleon left the ring with a record of 12 wins, 1 loss, and 7 knockouts. For her part, Baldwin made now has 3 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw, and 2 knockouts.
