Argentine champion Ana Laura Esteche will defend her World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Lightweight crown this Saturday against Adela del Carmen Peralta at the Argentine Boxing Federation gym in Buenos Aires.

The monarch will have to expose her crown in a rematch against her fierce rival, whom she already dominated in November last year by unanimous decision.

“I am proud to represent Argentina, and defending this title is the greatest thing that can happen to me, so this Saturday I will do my best”, said Esteche.

Regarding the fact that she is facing again an opponent who she has already defeated, she assured that it does not give her extra confidence: “I already know my opponent, but, anyway, my preparation is 100 percent for each match”.

Esteche has a record of 12 wins, 4 falls, 3 draws and 2 knockouts. Peralta has 8 wins, one defeat and a knockout.
