The World Boxing Association (WBA) Female Super Featherweight Champion, Korean Hyun Mi Choi, will face British Terrible Harper in a unification bout on May 15th, at the AO Arena, in Manchester, England.

Matchroom Boxing announced the fight as the main event of the evening to be held in the second week of May. The WBC and IBO belts, both held by Harper, will also be at stake.

Choi recently signed a promotional contract to fight outside Asia. The two-division champion fought in the United States last December 18th and defeated Colombian Calista Silgado.

For her part, Harper is coming off a draw with Natasha Jonas in November to retain her belts and is now ready to take on the WBA champion.

Choi has 18 wins in her professional career, with one draw, no losses, and has knocked out 4 opponents. In Harper’s case, she is also undefeated with 11 wins, no losses, 1 draw, and 6 KOs.
