The Argentinean prospect, Mirko Cuello, won the Istanbul International Tournament by defeating Esenbek Uluu, from Kyrgyzstan, this weekend in the 57 kilograms category.

The 20-year-old fighter was one of the best of the Argentine delegation in the competition that gathered boxers from several countries and which serves as preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Cuello showed quality, intelligence, and a great condition to move forward in the tournament and take top honors after all the fights he did. Additionally, he showed his ability to adapt to any style, as he combines his participation in the amateur field with his emerging career in the professional field.

The Santa Fe boxer continues to grow in boxing and hopes to get his place in Japan to opt for the medal in the Olympic Games in 2021.
