Argentina legend Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez will be one of the special guests at the World Boxing Association (WBA) Centennial Convention, to be held December 11-14 at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida.

Martinez, who remains active and also serves as a promoter, has always been a representative of the pioneer organization and a man who exhibits the values of the WBA in his performance as a boxer and as a person. 

The native of Avellaneda was world champion in two categories (super welter and middleweight) and is remembered for his victories against Paul Williams, Julio César Chávez Jr., Serhiy Dzinziruk, among other great fighters.
