Shivana Inalsingh, Trinidad & Tobago
Shivana Inalsingh, is an Integrative Health and Wellness Practitioner, certified Clinical Integrative Reflexologist, Positive Intelligence/ Mental Fitness Coach, Artist and owner of Reimedi Spa (reimedi.com). Her pursuit of personal growth, and interests in sport, health and entertainment have guided her life studies and career path, while her early exposure to boxing by her father, now retired Ringside Physician Dr. Calvin Inalsingh, cemented her commitment to contributing to health and safety in the sport.

Alongside her 30 year plus training in ancient and modern healing methods in Touch and Energy Medicine, spirituality and consciousness technology, she holds a MSc. Holistic Nutrition, Masters Certificates in Anatomy and Physiology, and Wellness Coaching, a BSc. in Sociology & Management, and certificates in Sport Psychology and Advanced Sports Management, and training as a PQ/ Mental Skill Coach.

As a recipient of a Community Award by the US based Association of Nutrition Professionals, she has established an international reputation for working to educate and promote higher standards of safety, wellness, health and performance in Professional Boxing, and for introducing Holistic Health care practices to the Sport.

In 2008, her work with the late WBA President Dr. Gilberto Mendoza and her breakthrough study on The Application of Clinical Reflexology and Cranio-Sacral Therapy for post concussive care in Boxers, led to her joining the WBA Medical Advisory Committee in 2008. She has presented workshops and lectures on Sport Nutrition, Nutrition for Brain Health and Concussion Care, Psychological Skills Training, Female Athlete Triad in Boxing, Hydration in Boxing and Self Care Practises for Female Boxers and designed the first WBA Medical Magazine. She has also been instrumental in the boxing recovery response to the covid pandemic, working with the WBA Medical Advisory Team, to formulate the WBA “5 Phase Return to the Ring”.

Shivana is Director of the WBA Female Championship Committee, a Director of the Commonwealth Boxing Council, and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Advanced Sport Management Alumni of Trinidad and Tobago, and a Director of Tourism Trinidad Ltd.
