The World Boxing Association (WBA) wishes a speedy recovery to super featherweight champion Roger Gutierrez, who tested positive for Covid-19.

Gutierrez had been preparing in Los Angeles in a great camp but his positive result to the virus takes him away from the possibility of stepping into the ring.

The pioneering body wishes the champion a prompt recovery and hopes he can be back in the ring soon.
