The World Boxing Association (WBA) World Championships Committee has summoned the Purse Bid for the heavyweight fight between champion Mahmoud Charr and challenger Trevor Bryant, to be held on March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the WBA offices in Panama City.

The WBA notified the parties of the mandatory fight between the Syrian and the American. This document contains the Purse Bid regulations, which must be read by the parties to participate in the bidding.

Charr and Bryant have a long period of inactivity, reason why the Championship Committee ordered the Purse Bid for the mandatory fight between the two fighters. In this division, the amount for the right to participate is US$ 15,000, and the minimum amount to offer is US$ 1,000,000.

The ratings committee vice chairman, Panamanian Aurelio Fiengo, will be directing the bidding. Any doubts concerning the bidding can be cleared up through the regular WBA mails.
