The World Boxing Association family regrets the sensible pass away of the one our International Official Members, Doctor Ruben Garcia.

Garcia lost the battle against a terrible decease this morning in Alice, Texas.

The WBA Directory chaired by Gilberto Mendoza, together with the WBA family send their heartfelt words of sympathy to his son, Jason Garcia, who is also member of the International Officials’ Committee.

We also wish to express our condolences to Ruben Garcia’s relatives and Friends.

Garcia was involved in boxing for many years ever since he stared scoring fights in Texas in 1991, and was a joined the WBA International Officials Committee in 2003.
