WBA mourns the sensible pass away of Nelson Mandela

Nelson MandelaThe World Boxing Association President and Vice President, Gilberto Mendoza and Gilberto Jesus Mendoza on behalf of its
Directorate and the huge boxing family, express their heartfelt words of sympathy for the sensible pass away of the social fighter and former South African President, Nelson Mandela.

He was loved and practiced boxing during his years of arduous struggle against racism and apartheid in his country. Mandela became an inspiring example to follow to achieve progress and union.

He was also a winner of the Peace Nobel Prize that stands out among the more than 200 awards he won throughout his life

Rest in Peace.
