The World Boxing Association (WBA) mourns the passing of Mrs. Stefka Belenska on Wednesday, November 3, mother of Mariana Borissova, distinguished director of the pioneer organization.

The WBA family joins Borissova at this difficult time. The international coordinator and board member is one of the most respected persons of the institution thanks to her trajectory and her contributions to the development and progress of the organization. 

The organization expresses its condolences to Borissova. It also sends its condolences to her family, friends and relatives who have felt the loss of Mrs. Stefka. May she rest in peace.
