Cuban Pablo Vicente retained his World Boxing Association (WBA) super featherweight international crown by defeating Mexican Miguel Arevalo by unanimous decision this Saturday night at the Vasco Nunez de Balboa Convention Center, in Bella Vista, Panama.

Vicente exhibited a dominance from start to finish and in the end he came away with three 100-90 scorecards during the ten round bout.

His good use of his jab and combinations of the Antillean left the visiting fighter with no options in a one way fight in which Vicente showed how he continues to improve and look to get into the elite of the division.

Vicente now has a record of 20 wins, 1 loss and 16 knockouts, while Arevalo has a record of 19 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw and 5 knockouts.

WBA was present at the Nevada Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
