Japaneses Takashi Uchiyama and Ryoichi Tagushi will defend their World Boxing Association titles on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan. The fights will take place at the Ota-City General Gym.

The 130 lbs super world champion Uchiyama (22-0, 18 KO) defendas his undefeated title against Thai Jomthog Chuwatana (9-0, 4 KO), seventh rated contender.

The defending Japanese won the title in 2010, and will have the New Zealander Ferlin Marsh as referee. Gustavo Jarquin (NIC), Wan Soo Yuh (KOR) and Ramírez (PUR) will be in charge of the socore cards.

Puerto Rican Roberto Ramírez Sr will be the referee of Tagushi (2-21-1, 8 KO), first of the 108-lbs title against Thai Kwanthai Sithmorseng (49-3-1, 26 KO).

Tagushi won the title on December 31, 2014 after defeating Alberto Rossel in the same arena.

The Judges will be Jarquin (NIC), Soo Yuh (KOR) and Marsh (NZ).

Both fights will be supervised by Renzo Bagnariol.
