One of the important points of the Fuzhou Convention has been the exhibition of the WBA Academy project. As manager of the project, Dr. Jorge Ramirez presented everything related to the initiatives and goals, which promises to be one of the most effective in terms of training and development of all those involved in boxing.

Ramirez explained how the academy was born, developed and made a reality. It is a project that aims to certify coaches, referees, judges and even doctors, in addition to helping the the fighters.

“In conversation with Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, we said that our members have the right to permanent formation. A well-trained coach will make boxing problems mitigated in a wide range. That’s why we created the world boxing academy,” said Ramirez.

He also explained the different certifications and guarantees that the academy will have. In addition, he announced part of the physical facilities that the project plans to have.
