Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano continue with the promotion of their fight on April 30, at Madison Square Garden. On Monday they were in London, an important place that experienced a great atmosphere with the presence of both fighters.

Taylor will defend her World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight championship as well as those of the IBF, WBO and WBC in a bout with high expectations.

The press crowded the venue to be able to talk to the stars during the official press conference of their visit to the English capital, in which they also visited radio programs and had photo sessions.

“Ever since I turned professional I had my eyes set on Serrano. I won’t lack heart or guts. I will do whatever it takes,” said Irish Taylor.

Serrano, from Puerto Rico, assured that she is looking for the victory and highlighted how good a fight of this caliber is for the history of women’s boxing: “The fight has been real. We are making history. I want to continue to open doors for the next generation.”

Now Taylor and Serrano are ready to hit the gym and continue training for one of the best women’s fights in history.
