Mukhammad Shekhov (7-0, 3 KOs) and Magomed Kurvanov (6-0, 3 KOs) will face each other this Friday in a duel of undefeated for the World Boxing Association (WBA) international super bantamweight belt.

Both Russian fighters will enter the ring at the USC Soviet Wings in Moscow to dispute the vacant regional belt of the world’s oldest organization in a reserved match.

Shekhov was born in Uzbekistan but fights with the Russian flag colors, country where he resides. The 28-year-old fighter has seven professional fights and is undefeated in his career, which has helped him earn the right to fight this fight.

While, Kurvanov is 30 years old and has not lost in six fights as a professional since 2017 until now.

The official weigh-in will take place on Thursday, where both must score the division’s regulatory 122 pounds, and on Friday they will be ready for action in the Russian capital.
