American prospect John Ramirez will face young Mexican Jan Salvatierra for the vacant WBA- NABA super featherweight title next Saturday during Golden Boy’s event in Ontario, California.

It will be a showdown between two up-and-coming opponents looking for a title shot that will help them continue to grow in their careers.

Ramirez is a 25-year-old Los Angeles native. He has proven to be dominant in the ring during his career, which began in 2020, and will now go for his first such opportunity.

Salvatierra is in a similar position although he does know defeat. The Mexican has already fought in the United States and is 22 years old. He wants to make a surprise with his fierce style characteristic of his country.

Ramirez is undefeated in 9 fights, 7 of them won by knockout and Salvatierra has a record of 8 wins, 1 loss and 4 knockouts.
