Rafael Lozano Jr., son of the legendary two-time Olympic medalist Rafael “El Balita” Lozano, enjoyed a dream professional debut by capturing the WBA Ibero-American flyweight title with a unanimous decision victory over experienced Venezuelan Kervin Romero.

Under the event’s slogan “The Legacy,” the young fighter from Córdoba accepted the challenge of making his professional debut in a ten-round fight, a bold gamble that he validated with a display of technique and maturity well beyond his experience level.
