American Caleb Plant won the World Boxing Association (WBA) interim belt after a tough fight against Trevor McCumby this weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

One of the most interesting fights of Saturday night saw Plant put in a great performance against an opponent who went all out and his loss did not come for free. 

The fight had exchanges, good boxing, action and emotion in a give and take in which each had their moments. Plant had a tough fight and even went to the canvas in the fourth round, but he recovered to stop McCumby in the tenth round after a tough fight. 

Plant won the WBA interim belt and is now looking for the big names in the division. The American’s record improved to 23 wins, 2 losses and 14 knockouts, while McCumby’s record stands at 28 wins and 1 loss.
