Focused on his goal, Alberto “Beto” Palmetta won the World Boxing Association International Welterweight title by defeating American Tre’Sean Wiggins by TKO in six rounds at the Ballroom Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida, organized by Payne Boxing in association with Christy Martin Promotions.

It was a difficult start for the Argentine boxer, who was troubled by Wiggins’ jabs and technical skills that hit him every time he tried to cut the distance.

In the third round, Palmetta, who managed to succeed thanks to his fight plan, hurt the American with an offensive variety that weakened his integrity and made him run out of options.

In the sixth round, Palmetta’s brutal discharge ended the fight that was stopped by the corner rather than by the referee’s decision. A new promising champion joins the World Boxing Association family.
