Manny Pacquiao retained his World Boxing Association (WBA) Welterweight Title over Adrien Broner via unanimous decision, with the scorecards coming in at 117-111, 116-112, and 116-112

Manny showed flashes of his old self as he still has very quick hands at the age of 40 years old, and is able to put combinations together as he outworked and out-hustled his much younger opponent.

Broner was able to have some success in spurts, notably with his left hook earlier on in the fight, but ultimately he was forced to be defensive and did not let his hands go enough.

Broner is a very durable opponent and so the Filipino icon was unable to penetrate Broners solid defense that makes him tough to crack.

Floyd Mayweather Jr was present for the fight, and he was asked after the fight if he would be coming back to the ring for a rematch with Pacquiao – to which he has nothing but silence to say for the moment.
