Committee ordered a purse bid between the regular Middleweight Champion, Cameroonian Hassan N’Dam, and Japanese Ryota Murata. The purse bid is scheduled for July 7th, 2017.

This purse bid will be carried out because the parties could not agree to make their rematch, which was ordered by the Championships Committee last May after the controversial result of their first fight. The percentage division for this bid will be 75% for the champion and 25% for the opponent, and the minimum amount will be $200.000.

This auction will be held at the WBA offices located in Panama City, Panama, and will be directed by the Panamanian Aurelio Fiengo, who is a WBA Directorate Member. Both the N’Dam and Murata teams were duly notified of this process.
