The Spaniard won a unanimous decision on cards of 100-90, 100-90 and 99-91 to capture the regional title and remain on track for a world title shot.

Martin took advantage of his physical strength and technical superiority to manage the fight at will, hurting the visitor in several passages of the fight and ending with a great victory.
