Israil Madrimov defeated Eric Walker by unanimous decision in a World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Welterweight elimination bout in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, on Saturday night.

The Uzbek won the cards 116-111, 116-110 and 116-110 to take an important step in his career and towards his goal of becoming world champion in the mid-term.

Madrimov overwhelmed his opponent and was aggressive since the opening bell in a clear demonstration of his desire to climb the rankings and win the title fight opportunity. The 25-year-old puncher worked well with his power punches and was able to hurt Walker many times to win the fight.

Madrimov’s left his record at 6 wins, no losses, and 5 KOs, while Walker’s record is now 29 wins, 3 losses and 9 KOs.
