The Puerto Rican Alberto “Explosivo” Machado jumps into the ring at the fantasy spring casino in indio California tonight as the favorite to end the fight with his hand raised, the rival in turn is Andrew Cancio, 130 pounds WBA title in the line.

Yesterday was the weigh-in ceremony and both of the fighters made the 130 pound limit. The first one to go onto the scale was Cancio, and he marked 129.8 pounds, with Machado tipping the scales at exactly the 130.0 pound limit.

Machado member of Golden boy promotions and Miguel Cotto Promotions will have his third title defense after stealing the title from Jezreel Corrales back in October 2017, he then went through Rafael Mensah and Yundale Evans.
