Dennis Lebedev and Youris Kalenga were face to face at Monday’s press conference in Moscow, for their fight mandatory WBA to determine the cruiserweight 200 lbs champion.

Both fighters, Lebedev (26-2, 20 KO’s) and Kalenga (21-1, 14 KO’s) made clear they are ready for Friday April 10 battle in Luzhnik, Moscow. They say they expect it to be a good fight and showed mutual respect.

Kalenga, interim champion, was born in Congo and later naturalize French, won the belt on June 21, 2014 when he defeated Mateusz Masternak in Monaco by Split Decision.

While Lebedev has been the world champion since 2011, first interim title and then, in 2012 he held the regular Cruiserweight belt

The officials appointed by the WBA are: Guillermo Pérez Pineda (PAN) as the referee. The judges are: Stanley Christodoulou (RSA), Leszek Jankowiak (POL) and Giuseppe Quartarone (ITA), with Renzo Bagnariol as supervisor.
