The Argentine world champion Juan Carlos Reveco closed his training in Mendoza, Argentina to travel from Buenos Aires to Osaka, Japan on Wednesday.

Reveco will defend his world championship for the ninth time against the former double Japanese champion Kazuto Ioka on April 22 at the prefectural Gymnasium in Osaka.

Reveco must travel with Diego Giménez (coach and representative), Jorge Arias (trainer) and Roberto Castillo (Assistant trainer).

“It’s a very difficult fight. I have made a great training. “I am going to face a great opponent, I hope to get hard and fast, and I know that Iota is a great Boxer, very technical and counter attacks well.” said Reveco.
