The last thing to be confirmed for the big fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Dmitry Bivol was the venue and on Wednesday it was announced that the fight will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, one of the most important boxing venues today.

Alvarez is challenging Bivol for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Light Heavyweight Championship on May 7 and both presented the bout at a press conference, in which the venue was confirmed.

After several possible venues to host the fight, it will definitely be the city of Las Vegas the one that will have this challenge.

It will be the second consecutive fight in Las Vegas for Alvarez and the first in the T-Mobile Arena since 2019, when he faced Daniel Jacobs.

For his part, Bivol will return to fight in the United States after several fights without being there. In 2019 was his last time on U.S. soil, while he has not fought in Las Vegas since 2017.

Canelo and Bivol will continue their promotion as they prepare to contest the plus 175-pound belt.

Murata-Golovkin will be next April 9 in Saitama
