World Boxing Association (WBA) Light Flyweight Super Champion Hiroto Kyoguchi held a press conference with his promotions company to talk about his next fight, scheduled for November 3rd, to mark the return of World Championships to his country.

Kyoguchi announced that he is preparing for the fight against WBA No. 11 ranked Thai Thanongsak Simsri at the Intex Osaka in Japan.

The venue has a capacity of 4,000 people and 2,000 are expected to enter the venue on the day of the event with the necessary distance and all the protocols that a massive event under these circumstances requires.

“I am happy that we can have a fight”, said Kyoguchi. “I want a fight that shows the little difference in skills between us”, he said.

Although no details were given about how or when the Thai challenger would arrive in Japan, they said they had the logistics for that purpose, and if not, a back-up plan if necessary.

Both Kyoguchi and Simsri are undefeated in 14 fights. The champion has 9 KOs and the challenger has 12.
