Yesterday in Panama, the Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association made the call to action everyone has been waiting for, that action being between WBA/IBF/WBO heavyweight Wladimir Klitchko (64-3, 53 KOs) and his official challenger, undefeated Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs).
Purse bids will be on Monday, July 6, 2015, at 11:00 am at the WBA offices on the Avenida Aquilino de la Guardia, c / c Calle 47, Edificio Ocean Business Plaza, 14th floor office 14-05, Marbella, Panama, Panama.
The purse bid will be conducted by the Committee Chairman, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, with an anticipated split of 80% for the reigning and defending champion and 20% for the challenger.
