Johnnie Langston became the new WBA-NABA cruiserweight champion this weekend after a devastating performance in Warren, Ohio, and knocking out Nick Kisner in the fifth round.

Langston scored a technical knockout after dominating the course of the bout and won the regional belt in a great night that featured plenty of action and great fights.

A native of Sarasota, Florida, Langston is 32 years old and this victory is very important for his career. He is now the champion of the Pioneer Organization and is waiting for better opportunities to defend his crown.

It was the 10th victory for the southpaw fighter, who has 3 defeats and 4 knockouts. In Kisner’s case, he now has 22 fights won, 6 lost, 1 drawn, and 6 defeats by stoppage.
