Without further details, and through a contract signed photo, 154 lbs WBA super champion and WBA-WBC 147 lbs unified champion, American Floyd Mayweather Jr announced that on May 2, 2015 he fight Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.
“What the world has been waiting for has arrived. Mayweather vs Pacquiao on May 2, 2015, it’s a done deal”, wrote the Boxer next to the photo of the signatures in a social network.
“I promised the fans we will make this happen and we did it. We will make history on May 2. Don’t miss it” he concluded his short announcement.
Pacquiao immediately responded “I am very happy that Floyd and I can give the fans the fight they wanted so much”.
Mayweather (47-0, 26 KO’s) will defend his 147 lbs. belts in the ring at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, against the Filippino star Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38 KO’s), with the WBO belt at the stake.
