World Boxing Association minimum 105 lbs world Champion, South African Hekkie Budler, retained his belt last Saturday, when he defeated by points Xiong Zhao Zhong, in Monaco.

The fight was exciting from beginning to end, with knockdowns of both fighters, who recovered and fought the rest of the scheduled rounds. The scorecards finally favored Budler by 114-112, 114-112, 118-108.

Budler (27-1, 9 KO´s) got the protection count in round 2 and Zhong (24-6-1, 14 KO´s) hit the canvas in the third.
