Germany’s Ramona Graeff will face Venezuela’s Alys Sanchez for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Gold featherweight title in June in Germany.

The fight was confirmed this week and will also be a world title eliminator, although the exact date and venue will be confirmed soon by the promoter. 

Graeff is one of the young promises of German boxing and in only her third professional fight she will be looking for the gold belt that will put her in a good position to dispute a world crown in the short term. At 24 years old, she has shown good things in the ring and now she will face an important challenge.

Sanchez is a former world champion who is looking for a new opportunity for the belt. The South American fighter will try to impose her experience over her youth and surprise on European soil. 

Graeff is undefeated in three fights, while Sanchez has 17 wins, 7 losses, 1 draw and 6 knockouts.
