Gilberto Jesús Mendoza, president of the World Boxing Association (WBA), was present at the thirty-third International Boxing Federation (IBF) Convention that takes place in Saint Vincent, Italy, May 28th to June 1st.

“In the WBA we have always valued inter-agency union and collaboration because for us the priority is for the good of boxing. That’s why I am here ready to collaborate with my colleague Daryl Peoples, who is passionate about this sport and who, like me, wants the best.” said Mendoza.

Both leaders will hold a meeting in which they will be updated on the current affairs of the two organizations and review the divisions in which there is a unified WBA-IBF champion.
