Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, President of the World Boxing Association (WBA), arrived in Hamburg, along with Carlos Chávez, Vice President of the organization, to attend the AIBA World Boxing Championships held in Germany.

Mendoza will also meet with Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu, President of AIBA, with whom he has already held several meetings for the union of Boxing and for the benefit of the athletes and fans, who are the main asset of this and all sports.

As usual, between both organizations there is cordiality and the enthusiasm to work hand in hand to improve the quality of the sport. This has always been the goal of President Mendoza, who has repeatedly stated the need for union in Boxing.
