Mexican Ganigan Lopez (37-11, 19KO) won the WBA-Fedecentro Super Flyweight title, after the referee disqualified his opponent, Colombian Jesus Soto (15-1, 6 KO).

The bout began with strong exchanges for both boxers, who opted for the short distance. In the third round the first clash of heads occurred, however, the referee determined that it was accidental and let the fight continue after the medical examination.

However, at 2 minutes 49 seconds of the fifth round, Soto intentionally headbutted his opponent, so the referee decided to disqualify the Colombian and awarded the victory to Ganigan Lopez, who hopes to have more opportunities in the World Boxing Association after obtaining this regional belt.
