The quality of the Wembley matches for this Saturday is unquestionable. Three World Boxing Association (WBA) fights are the most eye-catching of the night and in them, four Olympic medalists will participate, including Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko, who will compete for the body’s Heavyweight Super Championship.

The two fighters of the stellar fight have that merit in common. In the case of the Ukrainian, he won the gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games after beating Tongan Paea Wolfgramm, in the Heavyweight final. For his part, the British won his medal in the same city where he will fight on Saturday. London 2012 was the event in which the hitter reached glory by dominating the Italian Roberto Cammarelle in the last battle of the Super Heavyweight division (+91 kg).

Another Olympic glory that will go in the ring is local Luke Campbell, who will be in a Lightweight elimination fight against Colombian Darleys Perez. Campbell also won the gold medal in 2012 over Irish John Joe Nevin in the final of the Bantamweight division. Now he will try to take a step forward to a world title fight before the eyes of the current champion of the division, the Venezuelan Jorge Linares, who will be in the front row watching the bout at Wembley.

The Saturday night quartet of medalists will be completed by the Irish Katie Taylor, who will fight against the German Nina Meinke for the WBA-International Lightweight title. Taylor won the gold medal in 2012 after dominating the Russian Sofya Ochigava.
