The boxing world will experience one of its biggest fights of 2022 when World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Champion Yordenis Ugás of Cuba faces WBC and IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. in a welterweight unification bout this Saturday.

The AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas, will be the stage for the showdown between two of the best 147-pounders today and whose winner will get three of the four most important belts in boxing.

Ugas is coming off the most important fight of his life in which he defended his crown against legend Manny Pacquiao and made himself known to the world. The 35-year-old West Indian will return to the ring for a very important challenge and just as he has surprised several fighters in the past, he plans to do it again.

Spence is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters today and it is great news that he is healthy and ready to fight as he has had to deal with injuries and a serious car accident that took him out of action for quite some time. Now, the 32-year-old fighter returns to action after a year and a half of high expectations.

This week, different promotional activities will take place and on Friday they will step on the scales. Ugas has a record of 27 wins, 4 losses and 12 knockouts, while Spence has 27 wins, no losses and 21 knockouts.
