British Robbie Davies Jr. will defend his World Boxing Association (WBA) Continental super lightweight belt on May 21 against American Javier Molina at the O2 Arena in London, England.

The Liverpool native will make the first defense of the regional belt he won last December 11 when he defeated veteran Henry Lundy by knockout in two rounds at the Echo Arena.

Davies, 32, is looking to continue his victories and find a world title shot in the future, but for that he has to beat Molina, who comes in with nothing to lose.

The North American is on a bad streak since he has lost two consecutive fights, but against good level opponents such as Jesus Alejandro Ramos and Jose Pedraza. It is worth mentioning that in 2020 he defeated Amir Iman in one of the best victories of his career.

Davies Jr. has 22 wins, 3 losses and 15 wins by knockout. Molina, on the other hand, has 22 wins, 4 losses and 9 knockouts.
